5 Fun Christmasy Things to Do in Orange County In December

As the owner of a small house cleaning referral agency and long time Orange County resident, I am always looking for cool new things to do with my family here. Some of these things I have heard from other people, and some from searching online. I love the holidays and the holiday spirit. Every year I keep seeing the OC becoming more and more holiday kid friendly, with new decorations and events popping up on every corner. Here are 5 events that caught my attention this year.

1. Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train
Nov. 30- Dec 23: Orange County has its own version of the “Polar Express.” Bring your twinkly eyed kids on a fantastic night ride through historic Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Claus. The train starts from the train station and delivers children to the “North Pole.”

Where is a better place to see a real Santa than Pretend City? Bring your kids, they can give share their wish list with Santa. Pretend city is going to be festive and will be a great place to take pictures. Have your little one on Santa’s lap for a photo. Listen to carolers, holiday lights, and take some photos.
